It wasn't that hard I took the Joshs work from the rifters and conversations with Mr.Hilden. After using the storyline the game mechanics of unisystem allowed for a more fluid and cinimatic gaming feel to dead reign.

Didn't All Flesh have zombie cows? It's been ages since I've opened the books. Yes one of there storyline/ adventure ideas did indeed have zombie cows. |

Normally I don't like 'animals' in my zombie stuff, because.. people are bad enough. But once 'animals' are in on it, you're just totally hozed. One book my wife read it spread all the way to like whales and fish, and birrds and even bugs.. You can't survive a zombie plague with bugs! Bugs are everywhere.  Still. The Zombie cows made me laugh.  |

Yeah. Which is what Kevin tried to turn Dead Reign into but too much of the hold over mechanics and stuff staid in, so it's disjointed. That's not to say the old stuff was crap, but you can't have generic AND have them also be magical with magical sight and magical rejuivnation etc. It was set one way by the Josh's, and then chopped and cut and stuff till ... it's kinda a zombie product of it's own.
Personally I prefer a more generic tool box type Zombie game to make it how I want it, so I liked that aspect of Dead Reign, but hte hold over mystical stuff is there and ingrained so it smells funky.
