On a random whim I took a bit of a stab at rolling Macross II into the actual Macross TV series. I just kinda altered things so that the Marduk invasion took a slightly different route coming to Earth and that the Macross II ships and VGFs were "recent" developments by the UN Spacy that hadn't been taken up by the colony fleets. I also use the idea that Ingues and the Marduk were the remnants of the Protoculture race and that Ingues just kinda went nuts over the millennia and they forgot who they were and what they were fighting for.
It's actually working out quite well, story wise.
