I've heard that rumor too. That there's not alot of pics/updates on Wave two, because Wave two might not be progressing to shipping.

That shipping for Wave 1, the backwards ass way they did it and bungled it multiple ways, took -alot- more money than they were thinking it would.

A LOT more.

So there's question of cutting into, if not taking all the projected profit, for shipping wave two. I.E. they might lose money to do it.

Keep your eyes and ears open kiddos. If they do try and back out of this, there's going to be epic fiery backlash. You know they're not going to take it on the chin. SOMEONE will be thrown under the bus and blamed. "Well we did this but THEY mislead" or "We planned this but "THEY" didn't do what they said they would" Etc etc etc.

At this point, as they're preparing and packing all of the international shipments by hand in their own office, they've already lost a fairly substantial chunk of change over that wasted time... if only they'd done the sensible thing and hired an actual fulfillment house to take care of their orders, this could've been over and done with within a month or two of the production release.

It's looking like a bad year to be a Robotech franchise employee... what with the apparent double-cancellation of Robotech Academy, Shadow Rising and the rest of their planned Shadow Chronicles sequels canceled because nobody will give them a budget, zero sign of the art books Udon Entertainment was allegedly thinking about doing, outing themselves as having lied for years about Warner Bros' plans for Robotech, the suspicion and mockery surrounding the similar claims in the Sony announcement, pathetic sales for the latest series re-release and Voltron crossover comic, the lack of a definite release date for the UEEF Marines source book, and things going to hell slowly with Robotech RPG Tactics.  Looks like the Sentinels curse is alive, well, and stronger than ever.  One can almost be forgiven for wondering who's going to die on this convention tour to save their bacon.

Do you actually believe it's likely they'll attempt to back out of it?  I haven't been paying much attention to Palladium's daily goings-on, so I'm genuinely curious.

Backing out of part or all of Wave 2 would be disastrous on a level even beyond the mismanagement that has already effectively guaranteed the game will never make it past the Macross Saga set.  That could easily end in a class action lawsuit.

I don't know how 'likely' it is they'd back out, but they may not have a choice.

It's been a long time since we've -seen- any movement on Wave two. It's all been. "Hey hey look wave one is being shipped by rowboat from the wrong coast of the entire continent.

Where are the working images of Wave two? Where's the prototype images? Where's any indication what so ever other than 'We're working hard and sweating balls!" have we -seen-?

If it's out there. That's fine. ( don't keep THAT close track) I just haven't seen it, but from how people speak, it doesn't look like there's been indication of wave 2 at all.
