I hope all attendees have good time. Sadly I must now say I will not and cannot go to the open house on a day trip as I planned. My wife's car essentially blew up. That leaves me with a decision to make and the decision I made was to take my daughter's to Anime North as promised.

All nice and what not but...I'm getting on my soapbox.

I am tired of this crap that is essentially the online community being treated as a second class citizen. What do I mean? It is fucking 2015. WHY are we waiting a bloody week to hear much of anything about this? There is ZERO excuse or this. ZERO. Not to mention Kevin himself last Tuesday saying in his own murmur, in which he had more interest talking about a guy who wanted to see snow, that we would hear more later that day and it took four fucking days, FOUR, before we actually got anything. Add to that, that while this says March 27th, as of midnight Friday night the 27th, it hadn't been posted. So it was posted sometime after midnight or the next morning. Yes people notice these things. Also still ZERO said, where the people who made Robotech RPG tactics possible mostly go for information at the Kickstarter page, about Adepticon. The apparent inability or disinterest in doing what other companies actually do and that is post stuff from the actual con....and yeah I am bloody fucking tired of their apparent ignorance of the internet and online comunity.

am I to understand that they are now so small that all the staff went to the con, work in the warehouse and are executives that respond to contact at the con.
and did the guys get paid for the monday, time off inlieu or over time for the weekend? not that I expect an answer but you know, it's either thanks or thanks for nothing.

Is PB actually organising stuff for the open house? or is that in the hands of MAs, the tourist industry and "word of mouth"
not that I think they are doing nothing but I can see the shadows of the next 7 weeks looming large over every other project they have.

those 1st 2 paragraphs in the adapticon report are things he could do every other way including cons.

I look forward to POH, Easter, penguicon, the rifter #70 all contributing to PB making its chosen field of business ironic.

We have big plans for Robotech® RPG Tactics™,

Some day, Kevin will finally grasp the difference between "big plans" and "realistic plans".

With a whopping nine attendees at the Robotech RPG Tactics tournament at Adepticon, a smart business manager would be urging Palladium Books to focus its attention on other projects... because that is a sinking ship.

I haven’t been able to work on it yet this week, but I’ll be back on it this weekend. Robotech® Marines is going to be a great book with new mecha, aliens, new character classes, the Invid and more. Author Irvin Jackson outdid himself. I will be giving this title my full attention.

Let's not beat around the bush... it's going to be a filler book, with filler mecha and recycled material from the old Robotech II: the Sentinels sourcebook from 1E.

Any competent editor should've been about to sh*t this out over a long weekend, not that the content will be worth a damn when it's literally material that both Artmic and Harmony Gold considered to be too weak for inclusion in their work.
