OK palladiumites of yon Unofficial fan group....it is another installment of my weekly update commentary.

As is customary, ....don;t like it, don;t read it.

I do believe you and I have a very different definition of moving fast....

So....The Rifter is looking like an end of November release when it was supposed to be october....since that IS it's slated release date every year...

And Bizantium....well I hope I am wrong but yeah, I get the distinct feeling we aren't seeing this before the end of the year.

over half are Rifters and the rest are mostly books no longer in print or old editions that are essentially no longer valid. Hardly worth noting and making look like some sort of awesome thing. Want to wow us about PDFs? Put out currently viable titles, not out of print books and Rifters.

Things are really starting to move fast now.

My goodness, if this is your definition of fast, you must surely be part sloth, Kevin.

The Rifter® #68 and Bizantium and the Northern Islands™ (for Palladium Fantasy®) are both in final production and looking darn good.

"Final production" seems to be some kind of internal code word for "let's sit on this for six to eight weeks for no clear reason before we release it".

How splendid. You got a zombie book out just too late to be a Halloween release.  

Seriously.  If I had a C-note for every time Kevin tried to pass off the kind of screw-up that would've gotten him written-up or even fired from any competent game publishing company as no big deal, I'd have no trouble buying Palladium AND Harmony Gold.

He had a goddamn zombie book, and he missed the one time of year when that sort of thing is actually appropriate.

Really, I'm not sure what that says about the Palladium Books Robotech line when "the most impressive [book] yet" is a book composed entirely of filler that only got approved because Harmony Gold noticed that Palladium had run out of legitimate Robotech material about halfway through the New Generation Sourcebook.  The best Robotech book yet is full of "original" material that MOSPEADA's creators had rejected as not good enough for their show back in 1983?

If your crowning achievement is built on the failures that weren't good enough for someone else's failed project, it's time to give serious consideration to a change of career.

I gotta agree on the speed thing. "Fast" seems to be highly relative.

Hell I ordered a grab bag two weeks ago, it's not even here yet. And I'm in the same state. Now... that may or may not be Palladium's fault. They may have shipped it out the next day. Still I'm waiting and stalking the mailman (and tomorrow is a holiday GRR) so.. yeah.
