Yeah though......he could be the "inspiration" for the future joker....they did say his actions had caused some fear and chaos in the city....perhaps being what Jerome was....he "fathered" a child at some point....with one of the ciurcus girls...who becomes Jack Napier then the Joker...  |

The scenes at the end of people laughing favors him being the inspiration for the Joker.
