Like? You haven't really started "editing" anything yet that we have been made aware of, and you ALWAYS make sure we know you are plugging away at "editing", and you don;t pull and ship orders as that is Julius' job I believe.

Yeah I can't see the time frames between each container shipping cause any issue at all with how long it takes to get all the backers their products....no issue at all.... /sarcasm

Glad everything went so well.

Bummer for Carmen with the whole wallet and passport thing. That is really a piss off and very stressful. The drive to Indy isn't that long though (iirc Carmen lives close to Windsor so maybe 6 hours of driving I think) so it may have been good for him to have that quiet time too to some degree.

Same old same old... Kevin's "swamped" because he's a procrastinator extraordinaire, Robotech is fucked because it's Robotech, and they've got blinder on when it comes to feedback.

It sucks even when the criticism is well thought out and not demeaning Kevin seems to dismiss it quickly. As for robotech the best thing that ever happened for the franchise was that RTA failed spectacularly. Here's to hoping Agrama will fire his creative team and reevaluate the IP. Maybe even allow macross into the west. Off coarse non of this will happen but with all the negativity (a lot well founded) surrounding RRT I figure a little positivity is needed.

Because, in his position, if he actually listened to the criticism of his work it would annihilate his confidence in his work.  If he had to admit he really is kind of shit at his job, then the crushing reality of the situation he's in might sink in and murder what little initiative he has left.  They aren't exactly a big name anymore, after all... and it's NOT the fault of the "crisis of treachery".  They're in dire straights because they're out of touch and don't want to admit it to themselves.  It's Kevin's midlife crisis, and it's going to destroy Palladium one day.


Also, let's be realistic here... Robotech is never going to accomplish anything, EVER.


Robotech is a joke, a unpleasant reminder of the worst practices from the industry's dark ages that outlived its purpose a long time ago.  Its owners are an intellectually and creatively bankrupt pack of nuts who only keep it just barely limping along in the faint hope that one day its license will enable them to extort money from a franchise that's actually worth a damn... Macross, Transformers, or BattleTech, they're not finicky.  It has yet to produce anything truly original to justify its continued existence.  The only question with any new Robotech release is "who are they plagiarizing from this time?".

Frank won't fire anyone or reevaluate anything, because Robotech Academy was already the ultimate vote of no confidence... they KNEW it was a shit concept, and insisted the fans pay a ludicrously high price out of their own pocket to make it.  They're going to hang on until the fans finally figure out that Robotech is never going to go anywhere or do anything of value, because they haven't realized yet that Japanese distributors are starting to cut American distributors out of the loop by including English subs on their own releases for direct sale from Japan, eliminating the need for useless and obstructive middlemen like Harmony Gold.

RRT was a transparent cash grab with no future potential, so I have a hard time feeling bad for all the people who are going to realize very quickly that the game is kind of shit and will not last... but it's nice of Palladium to keep everyone's expectations painfully (and realistically) low.

The best thing Palladium fans and Robotech fans can do for both is to STOP SUPPORTING THEM.  It's the only way they'll learn.

Actually, having read thru the rules (more or less) they aren't that bad. pretty simple and easy to pick up. *shrugs* not that that will help it be a success though. I'll run it. I'll play it. That's all I personally care. I'll use cardstock unitys along with mnis as I honestly wanted the minis moreso than the game anyway.
