Fantasy flight will be releasing the force and destiny beta at gen-con this year! Next summer will be the offical release of the book but for those of us that just can't wait, fantasy flight normally puts a limited number of the beta up for sale on their web site! The price is around 45-50 dollars (United States dollars) which is about ten dollars cheaper then the final product BUT you will have to keep an eye on the web page to see what alterations (if any because you never know how things will go) fantasy flight will make to the book before it's offical release. Force and destiny will detail out the Jedi, sith, what races are most know for their natural attunment to the force and more that fantasy flight has mentioned yet. Give my wait for this beta alone I am with out even seeing givig this highly awaited book four out of five lightsabers! Once I get my grubby greedy paws on it I will give a more detailed review and rating of the beta. Good reading and may the force be with you.

I don't know where to start... It is worth every red cent. Becoming a master of the force is not an easy task. It's time line is right after te destruction of the first Death Star. There are several different classes with sub-classes. The powers and telnts are mind blowing. One must build their own lightsaber and mastery of multiple classes is completely open and allowed. I don't know what else to say. It is a great read.

And a some what strange question. Did your Beta have art in it? A 'friend' of mine has a PDF copy of the Beta, but it's all text and stats. No art anywhere. Is that what you ended up with?
