Heh I called it....." I’m afraid Matthew Clements and I will be working at least part of the weekend" And? I know it's holiday but self owned businesses don't care about holidays. I am glad you are giving the regulars the time off. I didn't think Matt worked for Palladium any longer so why is he being apparently force to work over the holiday with you is my only question...

RRT - so much for July.....MAYBE September at this rate....IF we're lucky. Please just admit that already.

Megaverse, Rifter and Graveyar - Kevin you got two weeks if you want to at least have ANY of them ready for Gencon.

Busting your tails.....that's nice. The rest of us are as well in order to make a living.

Actually, we do... even small businesses are legally obliged to pay holiday rate for any staffers working on a government-mandated holidays like the 4th of July.  That's why I told my people to fuck off and go blow something up tomorrow instead of trying to come in to work... that our main client site is shut down for the 4th helped my decision a bit.  If you're on payroll and you clock in on the 4th, you're entitled to the time and a half for holiday work by law.

Actually, we do... even small businesses are legally obliged to pay holiday rate for any staffers working on a government-mandated holidays like the 4th of July.

I meant in regards to the owners. I knwo I never got paid stat holiday pay hen there was a holiday when I was self employed.

when I took over my dad's business for him (please don't ask what happened) I paid holiday to everyone but me. I figured the few hours of work I would take on was worth double the normal pay.
