palladium-megaverse.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=143463Here we go.. In other words nothing to report in the way of actual progress? This has been the ONLY way you've advertised for a decade or more....repeatedly asking us to do so is just superfluous. I bet many of them are happy to just have a NEW product more than anything else. Does this annoy anyone other than me? If the project is secret don't fucking tell you are discussing it oye. Does your printer not do what any other competent company would do and give you the ability to track your shipment? Apparently not. And still no admittance that there is next to no bloody way in hell you will be able to keep your promised July delivery/ship goal....

All the secret projects annoy me too. It's that mythical beautiful girlfriend at another high school that noone's ever seen or met.

The secret project won't be released until 2022. This way they don't have yet another title to get thrown at them when people talk about their failed projects.
Mechanoids Space The Nursery The UFO Conspiracy Warpath: Urban Jungle Recon: Modern Hardware Unlimited Atorian Empire

And oddly enough Warpath - Urban Jungle was the replacement for Recon - Modern Combat LOL Right! LOL! So many books that never materialized. Wonder if we'll be adding "Secret Project from 2014" to that list as just "Secret Project from 2014."

I may be remembering wrong... but I remember alot of hype about Warpath- Urban Jungle..... and how it was going to be the best thing since sliced bread.... then.. and this is where I'm fuzzy, I could almost swear I remember the Author stopping mid stride to take a left turn and go try and find where Hoffa was buried and write a book on it?

"Go" might be the wrong word... as there doesn't seem to be any actual forward motion occurring at Palladium. In other words nothing to report in the way of actual progress? It turns out even a dead body can move forward if by "forward" you mean "rolling down a hill"... (no I haven't tested that empirically, but it stands to reason, doesn't it?) This has been the ONLY way you've advertised for a decade or more....repeatedly asking us to do so is just superfluous. Unless he's adopted Harmony Gold USA's practice of viewing his target audience as a small group of entranced magpies with wallets, and realizes that word of mouth is the only way anyone would conceivably pick up one of his products because the company's reputation is a joke. I bet many of them are happy to just have a NEW product more than anything else. Yep, I think Palladium is definitely borrowing from Harmony Gold's playbook... that "at least it's something new" factor is the ONLY thing Harmony Gold can rely upon to keep the wolves from their door. Unless they were desperate for something, anything, to validate their belief that it isn't a lost cause, they wouldn't look twice at that garbage. Does this annoy anyone other than me? If the project is secret don't fucking tell you are discussing it oye. But if he doesn't try to tantalize you with half-formed innuendo you might get the entirely understandable idea that he and his mates are just sitting around the office tossing cards into a hat all day long. Does your printer not do what any other competent company would do and give you the ability to track your shipment? Apparently not. Well, Palladium is basically vanity press... And still no admittance that there is next to no bloody way in hell you will be able to keep your promised July delivery/ship goal.... Is it bad that when he says there's been movement, my first reaction is to mentally insert the word "Bowel" right in front of it? This game is DOOMED no matter what happens.

Jeff (The Author of the Novel) was never the lead writer of the RPG, or if he was it was in the very beginning and didn't last very long.

Am I right about the Hoffa thing??

If I remember correctly (probably not), the book author only had a position as a creative director, with the game being written by a palladium staffer.

An entire RPG derailed by someone thinking they may have found Hoffa. *shakes head sadly*

An entire RPG derailed by someone thinking they may have found Hoffa. *shakes head sadly* Oh no, I'm not going to go into details because as much as people think it's a crutch I really did sign an NDA. But it was done before that, or at least Jeff's participation in it was. He didn't derail the project.

We know how palladium's vaporware works. Well maybe not how it works but the results. The "Writer went to find Hoffa" Still sounds funny.
