As of right now I have several of the source books. One of the expanded class books am adventure module and the correlian system source book. With fantasy flight still planning to put out a few more even with the looming age of rebillion core rule books. The correlian source book is well thought out. It has added equipment a few more races. It adds in a history that is pulled from the EU and some items are expanded upon. The source book leaves many adventure seeds and makes the system an easy run for anyone who has never played Star Wars or knowledge of the Expanded Universe.

What were the races added? I think I read the answer once previous to the books release but have forgotten.

Could be for "racial skills" that may not necessarily be available to Coruscanti Humans?

Could be for "racial skills" that may not necessarily be available to Coruscanti Humans? that is true. They all start with a either piloting planetary or space and that skill can be given up to three ranks at character creation. Normally you can only rank a skill up to two ranks at character creation.

I know that the Corellian, Jedi have a special lil thing, but as the "Edge" Game seems to be trying it's best to be Star Wars: Sans Jedi, I wasn't sure if it'd show up.
I like the Drall. They look like hamsters. I like the Selonians too.
If it's not too much trouble, what's the page count and price? Memory seems to be kicking me that they're pretty steep for return?

Page count is 144, as for price I have to guess honestly because I bought it with two other books at the time and was not worried about price but I want to say it was about 30 to 35 dollars. It's hard bond full color glossy pages.

I assume force and destiny will expand on the corellian Jedi, but I am not sure.

Thanks... that's a bit steep. Might try Amazon or the secondary market.
Edit: For some reason Amazon doesn't have the page count listed, but it's still $28. Ouch

Yeah I have the core book but those prices are what's kept me from picking up the rest just yet. And I've got dozens if not 100s of SW: Rpgs of the various versions.
Amazon has the list price for that 144page book at $40, and they knock it down to $28. Ebay has it for $25 but still. OUCH. $40 for a 144 page sourcebook? They gotta edge back a bit on that.
I'll probably pick it up at $25, or if I can find it cheaper over the next few weeks, but when I'm looking at like 600+ leather bound books, full color, deluxe editions from White wolf with stretch goals as long as my arm, often including 3 or 4 other books, for $100, to $130, paying $40 for a lil 144 page book seems silly Gotta wonder what the percentage of that is for the name. I -love- Star Wars, but damn. I'm having a hard time getting on board with this one. I'm a Jedi at heart and so many books out at high prices before they will deign to give me a book on the Force/Jedi... I'm seriously questioning their plan. I've spent thousands of dollars on Star Wars in my short life, Thousands more on dozens of different RPGs, 3 or 4 versions of Star Wars RPGs alone and this has me at arms length.

I tend to get a good price at my LCGS I got alot of the core book for games far below retail and as I said I got Suns of fortune, beyond the rim & the pathfinder core rule book for 80$ which was about a 20$ savings for me. I also got EotE for 10$ under retail because the owner has known me since I was a kid buying comic books from him and MtG cards. I do like fantasy flight doing 3 core rule books like they did with Warhammer 40k. Of I were you I would wait till next year when they project they will release force and destiny then buy all three core books or show up at this years gencon and buy a beta book of force and destiny.

I did enjoy the section on planet Duro and how the sith war messed it all up because of the basilisk droids dropped by the mandiallorians (hope is spelled that right). I am not a big fan of much of the EU I am a galactic empire guy myself but these little things make it feel like fantasy flight really wanted to make a breathing living star wars universe that would evolve into a post "return of the Jedi" galaxy once all three core books are released.

That is what I loved about the WEG D6 SW books. It made the galaxy more "real"

Question: What's the '3rd' Core book going to be? I've got the first core book. I'm assuming the "Force" book will be another. When ever it might come out. What's the third supposed to be? (Third as in number, not order, it might come out before the Force book)

(Third as in number, not order, it might come out before the Force book) yeah the third is going to deal with just the force. The secon will deal with the empire and the rebellion. While edge of the empire is dealing with the criminal aspect of Star Wars.

Ahhh. Ok. So we get a "Rebellion era source book" *Sighs and shakes head* like we need that again. I mean the movies have been out 36 years... Oh well. I'll wait and see. They put out quality work. I just sort of question the inflated prices.
