Posting this here too as there are still some open slots.
Game: Palladium Fantasy 2nd
Name: Empire of Sin
Setting: Western Empire - The Koerdian Mountains - City of Syrefald
Lord Burok Oslof son of the Overlord Rodd Oslof has quietly put out feelers that he needs a small team of people to carry out a very important mission for him. The mission must be handled with utmost discretion. He has reached out to you for help on this based on your reputation or for having worked for him in the past. The pay will be good but it could be high risk. There will be travel, including by sea, so be prepared for a long absence from home.
Players: Would like at least 5 players but no more then 8.
Races
Dwarves
Elf
Gnomes
Humans
Suggested Classes
Assassin
Gladiator
Knight
Long bowman
Mercenary
Noble
Palladin
Priest
Ranger
Soldier
Thief
Warlock
Wizard
If you want to play anything not listed above ask me and we can go over your character concept but I reserve the right to say no. If you have no experience with PFRPG, I'm willing to help you out with making a character.
The goal of this game is to have a GM post every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
I do want every character to have a background. It does not have to be long but I want the basics. What was the characters childhood like (wealthy, poor) where did they live (city, farm, etc.) and why did they pick their character class. I also want something on family. I do expect more then orphans with no connections to anyone as that cliche is way over used.
House Rules
I'm not much for house rules. The ones below will be in use. If a new house rule needs to be added I will post it before it goes into effect for everyone to see.
Attribute Roll - If there is a situation that I feel is not covered by a skill I will ask for an attribute roll. This is done by rolling a D20 with a roll under the attribute with modifiers being a success.
Attribute Roll during character creation - I'm a generous GM here and you get to re-roll 1. You also get one extra dice but only count the highest of the normal amount. For example for 3D6 you would roll 4D6 keeping the 3 highest and re-rolling any 1. I think heroes should be above average.
