Age: 40 Years gaming: 30 Favorite games: RECON, Star Frontiers, Mekton II Other games: TMNT, Robotech (1st ed), D&D in all incarnations (except 4th), Pathfinder, Miniature wargames, etc, etc.. I love RPG's and miniature wargames. I have some 40K stuff from 2nd and 3rd. I like doing WWII in 15mm and 1/285. Add in some Battletech and Silent Death.Love to paint miniatures, collect dice, and make terrain. I am looking to work with my brother on creating a company to create terrain and custom markers. I am actually eyeballing Robotech Tactics as the first game in my sights to do terrain and accessories for. And I think that Veritechs/Valkyries are over-rated.

Not really, I thought the Mekton II system was simple, enjoyable, and reasonable. In Zeta you could have the power of a Star Destroyer in a 20 ft tall mecha.

True, but why even make it possible in the first place? Construction was very simple before and could have been expanded using the old system. No need for multipliers and stuff. That's for Traveller folks

Try SilCore.....oh my god....it's mekton....if you had to use a scientific calculator....oye it hurts to build in that. MZ+ was still pretty straight forward...I liked it and was able to run SW and Rifts in it with little effort.
