Ok the point of this is to see if we can build a very Juicer like character using d20 modern and it's various books.
I do NOT want to see forced balance. I HATE forced balance and think it is one of the MAJOR things that screws d20 up.
Also this is just for the Juicer Conversion. I always felt the Juicer was not a class in and of itself just a conversion process like a Borg. What class they are should be determined by the individual (Strong class, Quick Class, Fast Class are likely the 3 main candidates)
Also, I want how you would do it to do it right not confined to ONLY what d20 allows. I"ll be posting mine tomorrow.
And..............GO!

does d20 modern have their classes in line so that I may study them. I can only compare DND 3.x and spycraft. but they may not suit how d20 modern does it's classes.
I do know I would choose a strength based hero.

Well the classes are after the fact. I am looking to more build the Juicer Process/Conversion than the skills they would get.

I really do need to look at how d20 modern structure their classes.

And I'll say again...I am not looking for people to make this a class.....
To me a class is training and experience. IE Skills, feats and talents from that class.
The Juicer Conversion is not a "class" and in my opinion never should have been in Palladium either.

to me, that's not all that "classes" represent.
As to Palladium, the term Occupation is more apt than Class.

Yet as Juicer Uprising proves, Juicers are not locked into "Occupation" of the type of Juicer they are. They have a couple of OCCs that are not connected to any Juicer type at all and to me that makes more sense. ESPECIALLY in Rifts as I see more Joe Averages getting the Conversion process to be "supermen" and not because they suddenly become soldiers.
Hell look at the Regular Juicer and Mega Juicer. The conversions and skills are nearly identical except for two things. PS is SN instead of Augmented and they are MDC instead of SDC. The "occupation" itself is nearly identical in scope.
And again, I am looking more for how others will do "super human" conversion process of it as rarely will anyone, let alone anyone here, agree which skills and such (or in this case availability of skills points and such) they should get.
Personally it makes more sense to give an idea of what base classes are recommended along with the advanced and prestige classes. If anything it gives a much more varied perspective to the Juicer which the way the OCC is now ends up way to cookie cutter

your method is to give a gear bonus in one bit hit that is universal,
here is how I would create a Juiced soldier, in d20.
have a 4 tiered system for Biocomp, drug harness and stims. Anyone can plug in a set of the the 3 units and be on the juice but will only be able to access level 1 gear, lest they kill themselves. Each level of gear will grant more feats, or progress in stacking feats and can break the requirements needed. Each piece of gear can also give stat bonuses. (in much the same way you have granted feats but it will spread the power gain over levels)
This, will not stop anyone levelling in any basic or prestige class they are able to.
I would introduce a Juicer class To facilitate a true juicer class, vs some drugged up dude, a Juicer class based on Strong, fast and tough base classes to specificaly allow progressive access to higher level Biocomp, stims and harness. with the 4th level (prototype?) reserved for the prestige classes. Because the class loses a feat to access higher level juicer gear levels, the gear can carry a feat more to emphasise how awesome it is being juiced.
Gear can be cross class able or class locked as it's stats require.
This will allow players to control the direction of their characters growth, which is a key aspect of D20, no matter the in play circumstances they find themselves in.
in game, This will create an industry of multiple supliers of gear, with cheap, middle and highly expensive items even within each tier. adding to game depth. the different manufactureres can specialse in particular base classes and it means players can swap out stim packs situationally to try and shift a few points and feats to give themselves an edge or diversify a team. this will be true for those that do, or do not choose actual juicer levels.

Pally uses classes...OCC stands for Occupational Character Class after all...
I don't know enough about D20 (only played it for like 8 sessions) to participate in a build discussion....
