Hmm... at times like this, I find that I'm not entirely sure if Kevin is genuinely confused as to why he's eternally behind schedule and universal derision greets his release date estimates, or if he's just taking the piss. I imagine there would be less slippage in the schedule and plenty of progress if he stopped micromanaging the other five people and didn't waste days rewriting their material after he gets the final working copy of a new manuscript. If I were him, I'd be a lot less worried about schedule slippage everybody and their dog predicted for Northern Gun and more concerned with the continual erosion of Palladium's residue of goodwill among the Kickstarter supporters for RPG Tactics.

Mike, he already has their money. Just like with NG1 and NG2. It's been pretty clearly shown, that once money is in hand, his concern is not really for that product or the customers that paid for it.
I don't want to be negative all the time, but -that- has been clearly shown with the NG products and releases around them, and the time taken to get them to the customers.

And unlike many who seem to think so, extra time does equate to extra awesomeness....

Perhaps someone at Palladium can be prodded to circulate an internal memo reminding Kevin that modeling his business ethics on that of the Ferengi from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine is probably a really bad idea. I think this increasing laxity on his part caused by having his customers pay in advance via Kickstarter is going to be the death of Palladium in the near future. Still, in light of other recent news, I can't help but lament that Palladium has the Robotech license and not a Macross one. If he only sold 1/10th as many copies as any Macross video game does, he'd still be outselling Robotech ten to one and could maybe afford to hire some better writers and artists.
