We are getting a lot done on many fronts. This despite snowstorms and sickness. Not only that, we thought we’d liven things up with a big sale. Read and enjoy.
UPDATE: Rifts® Northern Gun™ Two

As I think many of you already know, Rifts® Northern Gun™ Two was delayed when I was knocked out of commission for the last week or so. I’m only now starting to catch up on business and getting back to work on NG-2. Looking great. The focus of ALL of us is to get new product done, to the printer and into your hands! We are obsessed with that, and it’s about to happen, starting with NG-2. See the somewhat updated and tweaked description elsewhere in this Update.

UPDATE: Rifts® Megaverse® in Flames – Ship April

Artwork is coming in and looking awesome. This is the book we all dive into as soon as NG-2 is at the printer. Barring any more delays from illness or storms, this is the NEXT big sourcebook after NG-2. And it is pretty amazing.



UPDATE: Dead Reign™: Graveyard Earth™ Sourcebook

I spoke with Matthew Clements and he’s adding some material to the manuscript. With any luck, the final manuscript and the E.M. Gist cover painting should be finished and turned in by the end of next week. See the full description elsewhere in this Weekly Update and in the online store.

I’m glad I decided to print a few more copies (450, the same as its catalog number). I decided it wasn’t fair to leave out Palladium Fantasy®, so we are printing 450 copies of the 30th Anniversary Palladium Fantasy RPG®, 2nd Edition hardcover as an April release. So April it is for NG2....shocking.

MiF in April? Not bloody likely.

Dead Reign as well? not bloody likely.

Can someone please explain to Kevin that telling people things they know CANNOT happen is tantamount to lying to their faces? I do not care if HE believes his own hype it is still a lie.

Don't forget the Rifter in April too.

Yeah it's getting pretty silly. There's a 2 or 3 week turn around on Printing. So there's NO WAY that NG2 is getting out in March. So just stick a fork in that one. Even if Kevin got NG2 done in a week (I'm estimating 3) It wouldn't ship out to customers till the Second Week in April.

Then to get MIF out, he would have to complete the entire book. Art. Full edit on the biggest and 'last' book in that series, lay out. Everything, in under 3 weeks (That's if he started working on MiF the second he sent off NG2, a "Week" from now.) The only way to get MiF out in April is if it's at the printers by the end of the second week of April.

The DR book, I'm guessing is going to be another small splat book. Still to add on, it TOO Would have to be at the printer by April 15th.

And while this is happening, at least some of the time/effort is going to be going into getting the Rifter out as well.

It's just absurd. He's saying that he can finish NG2 and get it off to the printer. Pick up MiF, Start editing, get art, lay out, finish editing and have it completely done. Pick up the DR book. Start editing, art, lay out, finish and have completely done, as well has finish a Rifter (I know other people do most of that but that takes them off doing stuff for the other books). And do all 3 books +the rifter in the next 30 days.

It's just stupid. I suspect it'll take 2 if not 3 weeks to finish NG2 which would put NG2 out in late April early May.... then two to three months on MiF. The DR book seems like a small splat book, so it could be slipped in and pushed out, but even slipping it into the rotation would take two weeks or more to edit and 'finish'. And 2 weeks to print.

As Jaymz said, it's just lies. There's no way they're getting 3 books and a rifter to printer in 30 days.

Don't forget RRT will ship out on time maybe early in all this madness, with minis that "will make your mouth water." I wish I had Kevin's dealer cause whatever he's selling him I want. Talk about puff the magic dragon!
