I have been on a Pathfinder kick lately... But while reading through my core again I was assaulted by a thought... Regarding the Wizard and Sorcerer.
Looking over the two classes and comparing them side by side I noticed that A Sorcerer with the Arcane Bloodline was pretty much just a Wizard with spontaneous casting. (Albeit with a one level drop in spell access) This being the case what is point in the Wizard?
any one have any thoughts on this?

Given I have only had the book a short time I read the wizard as the formally trained and more scholarly Mage of the two.

This is a good question and one I have seen others ask but have not seen an answer for. Sorcerers are more beneficial for this reason from what I have heard. I will try to dig deeper but if you get an answer please share it here.
