I am starting on creating a "force" system for Palladium.
Many will say "eh they are just psychics of one stripe or another" and to those people I say: Actually no, not really.
To me Force Users are really a combination of Psionics, Spells and Automatic Powers.
To that end I will be posting here as I work on it.
First thing I am doing right now is listing all the powers and what the Palladium equivalent may be. That will give a starting base as to what and where i will be going with this.
One of the big differences is the range and actual power of the force abilities over the psionic and spell equivalents.
Another is that some powers are effectively free of cost to varying degrees.
I want to try and address this as best I can with this work in progress.

Updated the working list.
At present i am looking through:
HU2 RUE BoM Phase GMG
So far only in two powers did I need to actually look to super powers (Heightened sense of hearing and plant control) and they will get replaced as soon as I get to a spell or psionics that can replace them. Suggestions?
The remaining powers that have no equivalent thus far may need to be just created as new power for palladium.
Also, once I get a list done that I am satisfied with, any powers that have more than one equivalent will include all equivalents (or variations thereof) as part of the single power.
I will be trying to keep the categories as they are and eventually remove the duplicate powers from the more, what I call, powerful categories of Universal, Light and Dark.
Hoping to get this done sooner rather than later.

I have updated the powers list again. This time pairing down the duplications and such between the categories. www.dropbox.com/s/rxsotwfdmlc5jxe/force%20powers.txtAt present I am down to 31 Force Powers needing some sort of Palladium equivalent. The rest I have equivalents for in some way and can work with those to determine costs and modify the effects accordingly if needed. (IE TK Leap verses Force Jump....yeah the distances need increasing to be force jump etc) I also made a list at the bottom of what Force power might be able to be combined into a single power as they have similar effects. This may take longer to pair down as while they may be similar they may be different enough to remain separate.

Ok First sample Force Power
Force Speed
Duration - Number of melee rounds equal to the characters PE/3 (Average is 3-5)
FP Cost - 15 This power can be kept up by repaying the cost to renew it.
Effect - Increases Characters SPD by x5 + x1 per 3 levels of experience. Also Gives the following bonuses while engaged: +1 to autododge per level of experience, +1 attack per melee for every 4 levels of experience, +1 to strike/parry with melee attacks for every 2 levels of experience.
Details
Force speed, also known as burst of speed or Force sprint, was a core Force power that allowed the user to maintain sprinting speeds for a brief time. Greater aptitude granted greater boosts to speed and/or greater duration. The increased speed of the Force-user enabled the individual to see the world and the entities around them in slow motion, allowing them to dodge attacks easily and attack quicker with greater accuracy.
