Yup starting in April marvel is doing a four issue short of deadpool taking on and trying to take down Carnage. This is a series I am looking forward to, in fact I may just pre pay for the whole thing at my LGCS. Granted I have been outta comics for a bit (minus Conan, he is my bread and butter comic!) this looks good enough to buy the standard release versus waiting for the Trade/ graphic novel.

I've been out of comics for a good long while, but it was my impression that they're both pretty much 'unkillable'. Right?

I've been out of comics for a good long while, but it was my impression that they're both pretty much 'unkillable'. Right? carnage can die, but marvel has brought him back because he was their one true "monster" villain. At one point Deadpool lost his regen ability so he was killable, I can't tell you when or how he got it back. From all I have read one of them will die but marvel is not known for eliminating popular icons.

Carnage truly was a monster and cold blooded out and out killer.

All he cared about was his body count.

Huh I thought both had basically proven unkillable. Dead pool gets ..shot up, cut up, blown up all the time. It's like a running gag. Carnage, I thought he was 'thought dead' more than once, but the symbiote had a 'drop' or something get away, reform and return.
But I'll admit I haven't kept up too close for a decade or more.
Should be interesting.
What'd be scary is Deadpool WITH the Carnage symbiote.

The Tropes say should that happen Carnage would flee the host with in minutes due to the nature of Deadpools well... sanity.

lol Too insane for the insane alien psychopath?
I could see that. Conversely, their insanity's could B) Mesh and work around each other making the combo just utterly acid trip type bad/deadly/insane. or C) Their insanity's could war with one another. Neither one willing to flee, and each locked in endless. "Well I'll kill you or die trying". Which may destroy a city, or just leave him a drooling mass on the floor stabbing and shooting himself repeatedly trying to kill the other half... lol
