Anyone out there have conversions for Warcraft races to Rifts/Palladium? The Orcs and Trolls and such are far different from the stereotypical ones presented in Palladium fantasy or the conversion book. Orcs, Trolls, Tauren, Undead, Night elves, Goblins, Pandaren, Dranei and even the worgen are significantly different from current statted portrayals. The Dwarves might pass for Dwarves. And "Elves" Might work for high elves (A bit different than blood elves)
Anyone already have this worked out?

Not really a Warcraft fan so I can't help to much. I had a friend once who found a lot of conversions at some place called cheat thorns or something. He had a lot of conversions for things.

I have the Warcraft RPGs but they're not done to Palladium system, sadly.

Well that would be a good starting point though. We know what a human is in Palladium. Comparing the races in that RPG to it's human would give you a working start to the changes needed to make the as such compared to a Palladium human.

Which is why I'd need to go find my warcraft RPG... so I could get the "feel" of where each race should be at

Thundercloud Galaxy has alot of animal Aliens that fit the bill of many WC races, but as for the actual races themselves... The RPG does not really treat them diffirently from their DND counterparts despite all the cosmetic diffirences.

I want actual differences. They're pretty wildly different in many cases.
As for animal races... which where you meaning?

Warcraft treated the cultural differences as Prestige Class features, not racial.
As for thundercloud Galaxy: It had a bunch of stuff... but ultimately not appropriate. The Spirit Beast folk in China 1/2 Might be appropriate to get racial mods...
Hell, I'd have them native to Rifts Japan as well.. but that's another subject.
the Rpg for warcraft isn't a great source, it went Dead quite a while ago and lots of Material for it never got updated and is quite behind Warcraft realm wise, it only covers the first 3 Asteroth expansions

I have all the RPG's, but I wouldn't do a numbers conversion. I'd just eyeball them and similar Palladium races, and free form it to 'fit', what I know from the games and lore and books and everything.

I meant just to have sort of baseline within itself in order to figure out how to to do it elsewhere

Ahhh. *nods* Word. I got ya.
Poor World of Warcraft RPG. They put a good deal of work into it, but then the game went different directions with some things, which made the RPG be non-canon, and they scrapped it.
Funny thing, they're now starting to import some things from the RPG that were 'non-canon' that are now 'canon' again.
