Honestly, it depends on my mood.
Dwarves, changelings, and humans are my top 3, but in no particular order.

Greetings and Salutations. I tend to play humans, but since they were excluded in the initial post I'd go with ...
1: Kobolds. They hold a special place in my heart. Not sure why, especially since I've never played one. I've just really wanted to.
2: Quorian. NINJABUNNY! I must be your sworn enemy!!! This actually stems from the article I wrote in Rifter #55, which arose from a player in an Elf-Dwarf War campaign I was running wanting to play a Riftlord. When you put enough time and energy into something, you tend to hold it closer to your heart as well. Note: I do have ideas for a Gosai Culture article as well. However, I have yet to write it and probably won't until I can get some other stuff sorted out (like finishing a project I want to submit to Palladium for Official publication). This came about as I believe a request from Damian Magecraft shortly after Rifter #55 saw publication. So it's on my To-Do List, just not at the top. If I ever finish it and it sees print, my overall feelings on the matter may change. Who knows? We'll see.
Additional Notes: Changelings are cool, but too over-used by players in my opinion/experience. I've always thought an Emirin would be cool to try out as a player character, but don't think I'd include it as a favorite.

The Wolfen races. I like the lil fox guys and the coyote guys (Though who ever wrote them up had a serious hatred for coyotes) and the big ol wolven guys.
I also like goblins, but more Wow type or Pathfinder type.
