Gotta love blu-ray, now for BW to market to their American fans and do everything with English subs and dubs. We can only hope... that way, Macross fans will no longer have any reason to care what Harmony Gold does, because they'll be able to get their fix without any interference or needing dubiously legal fansubs. That really is spectacular news. |

if this comes down form the $160ish pricetag... I'd definitely look at it. I've been hoping to find English dubs of blue-rays from Japan. Eh... I wouldn't hold my breath for that if I were you. Japan's media prices are pretty nuts by our standards, but this isn't exactly outside what they would think was entirely reasonable the set. The costs for anime distribution are all earned back in home market sales, which is why the American distributors can move the products they license so cheaply... it's pretty much pure profit after the dubbing process is done. |

From the macross world forums I think you need a ps3 to be able to play the third bd with extras. Don't quote me on it.
